Champagne Cocktail 

  • 1 sugar cube

  • 2–3 dashes Angostura bitters

  • Brut champagne (or other dry sparkling wine), chilled

Instructions

  1. Place the sugar cube on a barspoon and saturate it with 2–3 dashes of Angostura bitters.

  2. Fill a chilled champagne flute or coupe glass halfway with brut champagne.

  3. Gently drop the bitters-soaked sugar cube into the glass.

  4. Top with additional champagne.

Garnish: None required.

Aperol 75

Ingredients

  • 1 oz gin

  • ½ oz Aperol

  • ¾ oz fresh lemon juice

  • ½ oz simple syrup

  • 3–4 oz brut champagne or dry sparkling wine

  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Add gin, Aperol, lemon juice, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker with ice.

  2. Shake until well chilled, about 10–15 seconds.

  3. Strain into a chilled champagne flute or coupe glass.

  4. Top with brut champagne.

  5. Gently stir once to combine.
